Patient Comments

Fatih Sert

I saw him for an examination last week.
As a physician, he is extremely competent, has high ethical standards, and—most importantly—is an honest person.
I am 65 years old, and naturally I have had to see doctors many times. But I have never come across such a caring, patient, and knowledgeable doctor who devotes not minutes, but hours to his patients.
If your condition is within his field of interest, then you are definitely at the right place. And if it is outside his specialty, I am sure he will refer you to the most appropriate address.
First for his warm smile and human values, and then for his professional knowledge and skills, I would like to thank my professor, Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil, and extend my respects to him.

Aslı Savcıözen

We are grateful to Prof. Semih Keskil, one of the most valuable surgeons trained in Turkey, for the effort he put into helping my mother regain her health through hydrocephalus/shunt treatment.

Nurşen Yüce

I consulted Prof. Semih years ago for the complaints I had been suffering from for a long time—servical disc herniation, double/blurred vision, and persistent headaches. For the neck herniation, although I tried all available alternative methods with different physicians many times, nothing helped beyond temporary relief. For that reason, I had surgery. About nine months have passed, and I have no complaints left in my arms, hands, or neck, and I am trying to do the regular exercises he recommended.
For my other condition, which had progressed to a degree that could have caused me to nearly lose my eye, we planned surgery after very detailed and meticulous tests and specialist examinations in other fields, and after a successful operation I was able to return to my home outside the city in a short time, without any problems.
For both surgeries, the fact that he constantly informed me and my family before and after, patiently answered our questions, never left me alone in the hospital, and was easily reachable gave me additional confidence and morale. Thanks to Prof. Semih, I was freed from the pain and uncertainty I had lived with for a very long time. He is a physician who listens carefully, informs clearly and openly, and whom I am confident does not overlook any detail—someone whose diagnosis and treatment I trust and will continue to trust. I wish him a long, healthy life full of healing.
And I would also like to thank his assistant, who made appointments, hospital procedures, and all other matters easier for us.
Respectfully.

I am deeply grateful to my esteemed professor, Prof. Dr. İsmail Semih Keskil. With a thoracic schwannoma located at the T1–2 level, he successfully performed a difficult operation that lasted nearly seven hours, with great meticulousness, expertise, and love for humanity. His patience during the pre-operative period, his reassuring explanations, and his careful follow-up after surgery gave me great strength on my recovery journey, both physically and emotionally. Through his expertise, calmness, and the value he gives to his patient, he made me feel that he is not only a surgeon, but also a true healer. I am grateful to Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil and to the entire healthcare team who contributed. To everyone who helped me regain my health—especially to my professor who practices his profession like an art—my heartfelt thanks. With endless love and respect…

In 2016, we went to Dr. Semih Bey’s office after I was diagnosed with Grade 4 glioblastoma (brain tumor). At the first meeting, with the confidence he inspired and his explanations, I was admitted to the hospital, and he performed a very successful surgery within a short time. Before the operation, he said some deficits could be temporary or permanent. Thankfully, I have continued my life without any problems or twitching, in a much better condition than before. Dr. Semih Bey was the greatest stroke of luck in my life. Thank you, Dr. Semih Bey.

When I visited my dear Prof. Semih because of lower back and neck pain, I experienced a very calm, reassuring, and thorough examination process. When you go for an appointment, you don’t meet only a doctor—you meet a friend who truly listens to you, understands you, and offers solutions. With an extremely careful and professional examination, he listened attentively to all my complaints, took time for me, and explained in a very systematic and clear way what I needed to do.
For issues outside his specialty, with correct diagnosis and guidance, he refers you to Turkey’s best physicians in the relevant branches and makes the treatment process as efficient as possible. The existence of such doctors gives people hope. I am grateful to him.

Sinem Aydın

Hello, our Prof. Semih Keskil was the one who made the first diagnosis for my daughter. For years I went to orthopedists and neurosurgeons for scoliosis, and they overlooked the tumor in her neck. When my professor looked at the old MRI scans and films, he said it could be a tumor, requested a neck MRI, and made the diagnosis. He wrote the report and gave it to us signed. We were going to have surgery for scoliosis—who knows what would have happened with the mass in her neck. Thank you, professor. I hope a permanent solution will be found for the mass in my daughter’s neck. I also hope more professionals like you, who truly know their topic, will be trained.

Duygu Kaya

I went to Prof. Semih because of pain that had spread throughout my entire body, but with his detailed examination and meticulous evaluations, he revealed a condition that likely would never have been noticed (Guyon canal syndrome). Thank you.

Sibel Dedeoğlu

Committed to ethical values to the fullest—he turned me back from the brink of surgery. Someone for whom the question “Would he operate on me for money?” shouldn’t even cross your mind. My professor is a unique value who enlightens you with his wonderful care and attention. 🙏

Serdar Alagöz

I went for a problem I had in my coccyx. My professor examined me in detail and requested additional tests specific to my situation. He informed me about my treatment and guided me correctly. Thank you.

Ali Emir

He has an excellent personality.

Above all, a wonderful human being—one of the few physicians who practices his profession in the best way. I wish all his patients healing and good health.

Mükremin Uçarcı

Thank you, my esteemed professor, for the care and attention you showed. I had a recurrent lumbar disc herniation along with spinal stenosis. I personally witnessed his knowledge and experience in diagnosis and treatment. I extend my gratitude.

Aybike Karakaş

Words are not enough to describe our professor. We went to him due to my father’s serious health problems; he approached the case very meticulously. All the doctors we had seen before said he needed surgery. Prof. Dr. Semih did not consider surgery necessary. The fact that there is a doctor who is so careful about ethical values impressed us greatly. He is so skilled that he wrote and gave us a signed report. We extend our respects to our professor.

Şinasi Şansal

Dear Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil, from the moment I conveyed my worries and difficulties to him, he completed my treatment process with the close attention and sincerity he showed. I extend my thanks to him and his smiling team. My esteemed professor has been a source of strength for me. Respectfully.

İskender Emrah Karakaş

I applied to my professor with a complaint of lumbar disc herniation and my condition was very bad. With a successful operation, he restored my health. Thank you. If you are looking for a skilled surgeon, you can apply to my professor without hesitation.

Taner Özkurtoğlu

In fact, he is not a doctor—he is a magician. I am very pleased with the surgery he performed last year for my broken spine. Since then I have been feeling much better and I continue to do sports as before.

Şehmus Olcan

Super.

Sevnur Ünlü

My esteemed professor, I’m glad I met you. Thanks to a successful surgery, I have fully regained my health. You are number one with your professional success and character. May your success continue.

Tuğba Kanbay

My mother had a tumor in her brain and it was in a place where vital functions pass through. We trusted Prof. Semih and had the surgery, and he removed the entire tumor without any problems, and afterward there were no issues. My professor is the most reliable name in this field. Thank you very much.

Mehtap Turgay

Dear Prof. Semih, I had the chance to meet him after an incidental meningioma diagnosis on MRI images. It has been more than 4 months since my surgery and, thank God, everything is going well. I am grateful to him and to his assistant, for their patience, close attention, and kindness. Respectfully.

Eylem Gencer

Our journey with Prof. Semih—who operated on my mother with a diagnosis of hydrocephalus—and his smiling assistant ended with good health. As a team, their approach toward the patient and relatives was truly very good. The happiness of my mother, who had walking and balance problems, leaving the hospital walking after surgery is unlike anything else. Our remote follow-ups have continued for about two years, and we still receive the same smile and patience. Prof. Semih, we’re so glad you exist.

Serhat Akça

In 2019, Prof. Semih restored my father’s health with a miraculous operation. He brought my father back to life with a 10-hour surgery after a neck fracture. He took care of everything one by one before and after the surgery. Prof. Semih is truly one of the few physicians who act with a “human first” approach.

Nadiye Codur

When I had lost all hope, I coincidentally found Prof. Semih online. I was going through a very difficult process. I had to have surgery, and I was told that even after surgery my problems would not go away. I trusted Prof. Semih; with his words and close attention, I had my surgery with him and afterward I returned to my old self in a miraculous way. Prof. Semih performed a very successful surgery—I’m glad I met him. Thank God doctors like Prof. Semih exist… May God bless him a thousand times; may his hands and arms never suffer. In spinal cord and brain diseases, Prof. Semih is one of a kind. Thank you again—I’m so glad I met him, may God never show the absence of such professors. 🙏 Once again, I’m so glad you exist.

Ece Berker

First of all, endless gratitude to Prof. Semih. I went to him with a very painful neck disc herniation complaint. I was very satisfied with his detailed examination and the treatment he applied—unlike what I had seen from previous doctors. With his interest in patients and his knowledge, he is number one.
I’m glad you exist, Prof. Semih.

Hakan Akbulut

I would like to emphasize—underlining it—that entrusting ourselves to our dear friend Prof. Semih was such a correct decision. The gratitude I feel toward him for touching my life with his successful surgery remains fresh even years later. With the almost magical touches of his surgeries performed with extraordinary talent, he continues to be a remedy for troubles. I sincerely wish he continues these magical touches throughout his life. I believe those who have experienced these touches know best what a great blessing they are for our country and our people.

Emel İdeli

Prof. Semih is a very valuable surgeon for our family. We are very lucky that our path crossed with his and that we are in safe hands.

Celal İdeli

We met Semih Bey six years ago because of our son’s condition; I can say it was a turning point in our lives. He is a very good physician—he answers every question clearly and step by step, and treats patients with great care. Our younger son underwent syringomyelia surgery by Prof. Semih six months ago; the surgery went very successfully, and our professor was with us throughout the operation and afterward—he personally took care of our child. The surgery went very well, and our child’s problems completely disappeared. Anyone who wants to go can visit Prof. Semih without hesitation. In my opinion, he is the best in his field. We are endlessly grateful to him.

Ayşe Ataç

Thank you to my wonderful doctor, who made you feel safe with his care and knowledge.

May your life-saving hands never suffer…
With endless gratitude.

Emel Buruşukoğlu

Dear Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil, about 12 years ago my father was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Until a month ago I researched and found you. The word we feared most was “risk,” and unfortunately my father’s tumor was risky. But Dr. Semih embraces his patient so well that he approaches both the patient and the family with clear outcomes, and by keeping morale and motivation high, he adds psychologically the best things to help the patient overcome the illness—almost as if he assists in defeating it. And I must also mention: the environment of the hospital where he operates, with all the staff, provides extra support—creating an atmosphere as if everything is tailored to our patient, contributing greatly to recovery. As the daughter of a father, thank you for your choices and for embracing your work and solving things in this way, and I wish you great success throughout your life. May God bless you, your good heart and your smiling face—you gave us our life back, our FATHER…

Hasan Akdemir

As a patient of my dear doctor and professor, Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil, I was examined by him and remained under his follow-up for three years. It is impossible not to admire his extremely kind manner and his clear, informative communication, always delivered with a warm smile. I send him my greetings once again from here and strongly recommend him to patients seeking healing. Thank you, professor—so glad you exist!

Hakan Ercan

My friend Semih Keskil—so glad you’re here. Many times I needed both his expertise and his friendship, and he never let me down. He was there during my head trauma when our car rolled over three times; he was there when our little one fell off a horse; he was there for my wife’s spinal trauma that appeared after an accident and then resurfaced years later with pain; he was there when we sent my brother-in-law in anxiety for an urgent check; and he was there for my father-in-law as well. And there are still more things ahead. If Semih has seen it, I don’t seek a second opinion—because he already looks at it as three opinions.
Stay with love, my friend. May your hands never tremble for many, many years, God willing.

Figen İskender

Dear Dr. Prof. Semih, it would be unfair to consider you only as a great doctor; I also want to say that you are a great person and a friend. Thanks to you, many people in our family can now move very comfortably and live in good health. I would also like to thank you for never losing your interest and support in any matter, even though years have passed.
Thank you, Dr. Prof. Semih Keskil.

Şenol Tunç

He is the person who correctly diagnosed my son’s lumbar disc herniation that could not be cured for three years, and treated it with a surgical technique no one had even mentioned. Then, he quickly diagnosed my wife’s brain problem—one for which no findings had been identified for years—and solved it with a very delicate surgery. We have been happy to meet such an incredibly knowledgeable, humble, sincere, meticulous, and disciplined person.
I have great respect for him and I am grateful.

Yasemin Demirci

He is my one and only doctor who carried out my lumbar disc herniation treatment. Thanks to his strong empathy and his calm, clear approach, I went through the process very comfortably. Even one year after the surgery, he was still by my side at follow-up visits with the same approach. Most importantly, his exceptional attention—without missing any detail—means a lot to me.

Serdar Güven

We consulted Prof. Semih Keskil—one of the most important names in our country in his field—for the urgent treatment of a fracture in my father’s lower back caused by a fall. After the first examination and various tests, the professor said our patient needed surgery as soon as possible. He scheduled the operation quickly, successfully completed a very high-risk surgery, and my father regained his health. We are grateful to Prof. Semih Keskil for his success, care, sensitivity, and kindness. May God reward him. I recommend Prof. Semih Keskil to all patients with peace of mind.

Atanur Demirelli

Mr. Semih is a physician who is highly competent in his specialty and shows an exceptional level of empathy toward his patients. After reviewing my wife’s (75 years old) existing dementia/Alzheimer’s clinical treatment file in great detail and performing her physical examinations, he revealed a clinical picture of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus that had not previously been identified in our patient. After more advanced tests were conducted in the hospital setting, a shunt surgery was performed on my wife on 16.10.2020. We are very satisfied with the results. He is a physician who is very attentive to the patient and very sensitive about informing the patient.

Erkan Tendürüs

First of all, thank you for enlightening me and my family with your courtesy, strong character, and expertise. I met my respected Prof. Semih Keskil in 2019 due to a lumbar disc herniation that had begun to seriously hinder my daily life. From the moment I met him, I could see that I was in safe hands. I want to emphasize how important it is to be adequately informed by your physician—after all, you are undergoing surgery.
In this process, he performed my fully endoscopic (minimally invasive) lumbar disc herniation surgery at TOBB ETÜ Hospital using a method unlike anything I had heard before. Everything that would happen before and after the operation unfolded exactly as he said it would. Together with my professor Semih, thank God, we got through a very difficult period. I am thankfully doing very well now. I want to say how happy I am to know him and to trust him, and I extend my respect and love to him once again.

Ersan Ercan

I found Prof. Semih through detailed online research and met him because of my mother’s hydrocephalus. He is an extremely kind, sincere, and extraordinarily successful doctor. We went through a very successful surgical process. He took incredible care of everything both before and after the surgery. Even on the phone, whenever we called, he helped us and supported us with every issue. Thank you, my dear professor.

Ahmet Günas Özler

An excellent person and doctor. I went to him with complaints of disc loss and calcification. With his skillful hands, he successfully completed my C5 corpectomy and discectomy. I extend my gratitude for the health and comfort he granted me with his capable hands.

Rüya Deniz

A doctor who truly does his job properly.

Prof. Dr. Feride Duru & Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal Duru

We visited Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil for my spouse’s chronic lower back and leg pain. He is extremely knowledgeable, places great importance on medical ethics, a true gentleman, and a genuine physician. We admired the deep knowledge and care he presented to us with such elegance. We wish him continued success.

Şengül Günaydın

My respected professor answered my question very quickly and very kindly. Thank you.

Serhan Köse

Very attentive and an expert in his field. He explained the cause of our problem and the treatment down to the finest detail.

Abdullah Keleş

I had lumbar spinal canal stenosis surgery performed by my respected Prof. Semih Keskil on 29 August 2019. I owe him my gratitude for relieving me from pain that lasted for days without going away. No matter what I do, I cannot repay my professor’s kindness. I wish for more valuable people like him in our country. With his humane approach and humble personality, he is an exemplary person. Live long, professor—thank you for everything. Respectfully…

Recep Bakırcı

I consulted Prof. Semih Keskil due to some complaints. He welcomed me like a father and took care of everything. After examinations, we decided on surgery. He performed my operation on May 23. The surgery lasted six hours. After the operation, I did not encounter any of the negative outcomes I was worried about. By that evening, I had recovered and was able to stand up. I stayed in the hospital for five days as a precaution. During the day, my professor visited me many times to check on me and change my dressings. He was so attentive and caring that I still feel embarrassed when I remember it. It was the first time I had seen a professor this humble and this gentle. Beyond his professional success, I think this side of him should also be taught and talked about. Over time, all of the complaints I had disappeared. I stopped taking medication and returned to my previous quality of life. May God reward my professor. I feel very lucky to know Prof. Semih Keskil. May his path and fortune always be open. With respect and reverence.

Nazan & Kenan Saftürk

In December 2017, my wife suffered a very severe Grade 3 brain hemorrhage in the Netherlands. The first intervention was done there. After the surgery, her left side was paralyzed, and a report was issued stating she would need lifelong care, so she was sent to a nursing home. As her husband, I could not accept this. After our research in Turkey for treatment, we came to Prof. Semih. After tests, he diagnosed hydrocephalus. He performed a small operation to place a shunt for my wife. After the surgery, my wife—who barely spoke, couldn’t sit up in bed, couldn’t walk, and didn’t recognize the need to use the toilet—started speaking fluently and wanted to get out of bed to go to the bathroom. I couldn’t believe it.
When we returned to the Netherlands, no one—from the doctors at the nursing home to the cleaning staff—believed my wife could come back walking like that. Of course, I listed my professor’s accomplishments. Now my wife and I go to our workplace together, and she has returned to active working life. We are grateful first to God, then to Prof. Dr. Semih, and to his assistant. Professor, if your path ever brings you to the Netherlands, we would love to host you. We love you very much. Greetings, Nazan and Kenan.

Volkan Şimşek

I met our respected Prof. Semih Keskil at the book signing event for his book titled “Everything About Dementia and Alzheimer’s.” After reading his book, we decided to have my mother examined by him. My mother’s forgetfulness and the slowing of her daily movements had reached a level that was upsetting us.
I won’t write too much because Prof. Semih’s examination, the subsequent tests, and the operation involve technical details. But during the process we experienced with Prof. Semih:

  • We, as a patient’s relative, gained sufficient understanding of how a diagnosis for such a condition is made and how the examination process works.
  • We were able to verify, in our own way, every piece of information Prof. Semih shared. In my opinion, this is the most important part of building trust in your doctor.
  • The team Prof. Semih led in this process was truly on top of their work and of us.

Prof. Semih approached both my mother and us with a warmth and transparency that we will always remember. We still mention him in many conversations and recommend him in many settings.
Prof. Semih, thank you for everything.

Bedriye Guran

I was very satisfied with my professor. He helped me a lot with my troubles and he is truly a very good doctor—an expert in his specialty. I had seen him in the news because of a treatment he performed, and I had also read about him in a newspaper. In addition, we had a friend who was treated by Prof. Semih, so we chose him for that reason. We can reach him by phone whenever we want. When you go to a doctor, they may not even look at your face—but Prof. Semih is not like that. He is a doctor who values his patients. I had forgetfulness; tests were done and a diagnosis was made. Medication treatment was applied and I got a positive result. I recommend him to all my relatives. I am a retired bank employee and I recommended him to a few acquaintances from the bank as well.

Aviva Rayne

This feedback aims to paint a realistic and complete picture of what I experienced as a patient. The first two paragraphs will give you the outcome of the treatment I received; the third will provide a brief summary of the day of surgery; the fourth will discuss what the recovery period required; and the final paragraph consists of humble advice for prospective patients.
After exhausting all alternative treatments, I went to Prof. Keskil’s clinic for my first appointment. Although he provided very detailed information about the condition and treatment options, he did not try to persuade me into surgery; choosing to proceed with surgery was solely my decision as a patient. Without any bureaucracy or waiting weeks for results such as MRI or blood tests, the entire set of procedures—including the operation and three appointments—was completed with great precision within 12 days. That is the beauty of private healthcare: efficient and effective.
Twelve months after the surgery, all the symptoms I previously had—such as sciatica, numbness, and fatigue (for which Prof. Keskil performed an Endoscopic Discectomy at L5–S1 in the lumbar spine and an Annuloplasty at C4–5 and C5–6 in the cervical spine)—were gone, and I am very grateful. Now I would like to take you back to the day of the operation. First of all, unlike many consultants, Prof. Keskil is larger than life with his incredible humility and empathy; he is the embodiment of humanity. He did not only visit me three times in the hospital—first before surgery, then immediately after, and finally the next morning to change the dressing—he also had the courtesy to follow up.
Due to COVID-related travel restrictions, I am usually on Zoom. The surgery is generally a procedure that lasts all day and does not require an overnight stay; however, due to my personal circumstances, I was allowed to stay one night in the hospital, and I was cared for by wonderful on-duty nurses that night.
You may be wondering about pain after the surgery: there was none—no pain, no throbbing, nothing. In fact, just a few hours after the operation, I managed to get up and walk down the hospital corridor. The first painkillers were administered eight hours after surgery. Regarding the recovery period, I followed my neurosurgeon’s advice as if they were sacred verses. To put this into perspective: one month after the operation, I did a month of physiotherapy; three months after starting Pilates classes regularly; by the end of the fifth month, I was walking three miles a day.
Later I increased my walking and from the seventh month onward I managed to complete an eight-mile trek, feeling completely free with zero pain. So moderate but regular exercise is your friend during this crazy period. That said, I have a few pieces of advice for patients considering surgeries like the ones mentioned above. Yes, the surgery was successful; yes, the postoperative period was complication-free; yes, the Professor is right there whenever you reach out—but the first six months were very difficult for me.
Even if an invasive treatment is “micro,” I try to avoid scaring people; there may be ups and downs while your body adapts—for example, occasional numbness, sciatica pain, and fear due to the discomfort of sitting. I use the word “may” because everyone’s coping mechanism is different, and mine was unique. The only thing I say is: don’t despair; don’t curse your body; and certainly don’t blame your neurosurgeon for it.
Rest assured: with more than 30 years of experience, the Professor will have done a flawless job. Two weeks later, I needed to contact Prof. Keskil to ask whether my body’s reaction was normal. Time confirmed his reassuring email. I was simply in panic mode. Therefore, the success of surgery is one thing, while the recovery process is a completely different story. The latter is what you must personally overcome, and depending on your body and your decision to follow clinical advice for post-op healing, it can take months—or just weeks. Because, as I said, each of us is different. Thank you again, Prof. Semih—you are a great blessing to the world.

Abdullah Keleş

I had lomber canal narrowing surgery on 29 August 2019 by my doctor Semih Keskil. I am indebted to him for saving me from my pain that lasted for days. No matter what I do, I cannot repay my doctor. I wish to increase the values like my doctor in our country. He is an exemplary person with an humanitarian approach and humble personality. Thank you very much for everything sir. Kind regards…

Ahmet Günas Özler

An excellent person and doctor. I went with disk herniation and calcification complaints. He successfully completed my C5 corpectomy and discectomy with his auspicious hands. I would like to express my gratitude for the health and comfort that he has bestowed on me.

Atanur Demirelli

Semih is a highly competent physician who empathizes with his patients at a very high level. After examining my wife’s (75 years old) current dementia / ALZH clinical treatment file in great detail and performing physical examinations, she revealed the clinical picture of “Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus”, which was not detected in our patient before. Shunt surgery was performed on my wife on 16.10.2020 after higher level tests performed in the hospital environment. We are very happy with the results. He is a very sensitive physician regarding his patient and clearly informing the patient.

Ayhan Karayama

We have been in touch with our surgeon for 18 years. Both his medical expertise and his humane side are undeniable. We met him at Atatürk Hospital. He came to the hospital where we were staying and operated on our daughter. I will never forget his visits day and night. Later, he worked in different hospitals, but we were almost always there. We didn’t even go to another doctor, because we know how hard it is to find a surgeon like ours.

Elif Mertol

We met my esteemed professor in December 2020 due to the diagnosis of a giant 8.5 cm arachnoid cyst. After the diagnosis, I met with Prof. Semih, and through his detailed examinations I learned that the cyst had displaced my brainstem and that my condition was life-threatening. Despite all of these negative circumstances, with the trust I felt in my professor and his reassuring words, I accepted the surgery recommendation without hesitation. In the process after the very successful surgery, my professor Semih supported me greatly through his care and guidance. The fact that I fully recovered just two months after the operation—and perhaps that I am even alive—are things I owe to my esteemed professor. No amount of prayer for him would be enough.

Elif-Geray Aktimur

After the traffic accident our dear father had outside Ankara, he experienced severe lower back pain immediately afterward. We reached Mr. Semih by phone, and he asked us to send him the CT scan results taken outside Ankara, because the situation could be serious. Meanwhile, he suggested we urgently bring our father by ambulance to the hospital where he was working at the time. When we shared the CT results, he said there was a fracture in the spine and that surgery was necessary. He also contacted by phone the doctor who had been caring for our father at the hospital where the CT was performed outside Ankara.
When our father arrived at the hospital, he examined him immediately and explained the surgery to all of us down to the finest detail. Using a new technique with a much shorter recovery process than open surgery, he repaired our father’s fractured vertebra without performing open surgery. After the operation, he continued to take close care of our father and explained in detail what he should and should not do. Thanks to Mr. Semih, our father was saved in a very short time from a condition that could have led to serious consequences (even paralysis). Our father, who could not move at all because of pain, started walking and sitting the day after the surgery. And in a very short time, he regained his former health—without any incision, stitches, surgical scar, or postoperative pain on his back.
We are grateful to Mr. Semih for healing our father so quickly and without pain. It also greatly reassured us that he patiently explained every detail of what he would do and our patient’s condition in a way we could all understand. We always trust Mr. Semih with our eyes closed—he is friendly, understanding, and helps all of us think positively about the situation. Thank you for your support and all your help.

Erkan Tendürüs

First of all, I would like to thank him for enlightening me and my family with his kindness, solid character and expertise. In 2019 we met with my esteemed Doctor Semih Keskil; because of my lumbar hernia, which created a serious obstacle in my daily life. From the moment I met him, I could see that I was in good hands. I would like to underline that being able to be adequately enlightened by your physician is very important at this point. After all, you are having surgery .

He performed my herniated disc surgery at TOBB ETU Hospital, with a totally closed method. Everything about what will happen before and after the surgery came true as he said. Thank God we left behind a very difficult process for me together with Doctor Semih. Thank goodness I’m fine now. I would like to express that I am extremely happy to know him and to trust him. Again, I send my respect and love to him.

Ersan Ercan

I found Prof Semih as a result of detailed research on the internet and met him because of my mother’s hydrocephalus disease. He is an extremely kind, sincere and extraordinarily successful doctor. We had a very successful surgery. He took incredible care of everything before and after the surgery. He helped us whenever we called, even on the phone; he helped us with every problem. Thank you very much my dear doctor.

H. Gürlek

Dear Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil, about 12 years ago my father was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Until one month ago, I researched and found you. The word we feared most was “risk,” and unfortunately my father’s tumor was risky. But Dr. Semih embraces his patient so well that he approaches both the patient and the family with clear outcomes, keeps morale and motivation high—which is most important for the patient—and adds the best psychological support, almost as if he helps the patient defeat the illness.
And I must mention something: the environment of the hospital where he operates, together with all the staff, provides extra support—creating an atmosphere as if everything is tailored specifically for our patient, contributing greatly to recovery. As a daughter, I wish you abundant success throughout your life for these choices and for embracing your work and solving things in this way. May God bless your heart and your smiling face—you gave us our life back, our FATHER…

After extensive research, we finally found our professor Semih. Our 13-month-old baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and tumors in the spinal cord at the same time. He performed the surgery when our baby was 14 months old. He worked with great delicacy and meticulousness. We are very lucky—both our baby and us—to have found him. If there are others in a situation like ours, they should definitely consult our professor.

Harzem Ayna

Thanks to Prof. Semih’s careful and meticulous work, I successfully came through two tumor surgeries—even though there was only a very short time gap of about 10 days and despite his very busy surgery schedule. I recommend Prof. Semih to everyone.

Hasan S. Taslica

I have been living in London, England for about 45 years. In early October 2015, upon a friend’s recommendation, I visited Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil. The reason for my visit was a nerve compression problem I had been suffering from for about four years. Although it was also stated here that the condition required surgery, I did not have the courage to undergo an operation in England that could be risky. I told Mr. Keskil that even the high-dose painkillers I had been taking continuously could not relieve my unbearable pain.
Prof. Dr. Keskil diagnosed nerve compression caused by spinal stenosis and recommended the surgery he could perform, stating that if it was not addressed, the problem would worsen and could even leave me disabled. This warm, smiling person, who gave me confidence, carried out the necessary operation with the high-level facilities he provided. Following my very successful surgery, I not only regained my normal walking within a few days, but I was also freed from my pain. More than two years have passed since the operation, and I have had no problems afterward. I extend my gratitude to dear Prof. Keskil…

Hatice Gül Selis

When I had an MRI for my back pain that occurred after a sudden movement and did not last for a while; I was told that I had to get up carefully, even from the MRI table, and that the nerve was very swollen and about to rupture. Naturally, I was scared, but when my doctor Semih took over the operation, I felt a little relieved. He told me that the swelling could also be caused by some kind of a benign tumor and if this was the case, he would not cut it from the bottom up, like many surgeons; but peel it off like an onion, and it would ensure that I would not experience any loss of sensation. I couldn’t believe it when I found myself sitting on my bed without any pain after a problem-free operation. That very day, I stood up and returned home without pain. Thankfully, I haven’t had the same problem since then. I’m still doing the exercises he taught me. Now, I advise those who suffer from low back pain not to suffer this ordeal, to consult my doctor as soon as possible to improve their quality of life.

I suffered from a lumbar disc herniation for about 15 years. In 2018, my pain increased a lot. I spoke with many people who had surgery; they told me, “Don’t get surgery.” Everyone who had surgery ended up having a second and third surgery. Of course, that frightened me. But my pain increased so much that physical therapy no longer helped either. So my wife and I began searching for a good doctor. And BINGO… God brought us my doctor, İsmail Semih KESKİL, whose hands deserve to be kissed. We made an appointment and went to his office. After the necessary tests, on 10.09.2018, I got rid of three herniations, God willing, with what people call “closed surgery”—a needle-based treatment. No scalpel, no knife. Of course, we must protect ourselves afterward.
Dear Turkish people, I can say this: if you have a condition related to neurosurgery, entrust yourself without hesitation. Neurosurgeon and Spine Diseases Specialist Prof. Dr. İsmail Semih KESKİL, with his manner, his warm smile, his explanations, and his expertise, is an invaluable blessing for our people. Dear Prof. Dr. İsmail Semih KESKİL, I am grateful to you for everything. Respectfully.

Kaan Bicil

The most important thing I look for in a doctor is trust. When I went to him five years ago with a diagnosis of lumbar disc herniation, he said, “There is absolutely no need for surgery, but you must take very good care of yourself.” Like many herniation patients, unfortunately I didn’t listen. In the end, when I reached the point where there was no solution other than surgery, I knocked on his door again.
Over these five years, everything he said turned out to be true—what would happen if I didn’t take care of myself; how many hours after surgery I would stand up; and on which morning I would wake up without pain. I didn’t just meet a good surgeon; I also gained a good friend.

Because of severe lower back pain, I had two surgeries abroad. After the surgeries, there was no change in my pain. My doctor said they would disappear over time, but my complaints continued. I could walk a maximum of 10 minutes. By chance, I found Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil on the internet and flew to Ankara for an appointment. After detailed evaluations, he identified the cause of my pain and planned the operation that needed to be done. After a three-day treatment period, I was able to stand up completely and returned abroad again. I am grateful to him. I recommend him to all patients who have this kind of problem.

A few months ago, because my mother had forgetfulness, dementia, urinary incontinence, and difficulty walking, I started researching online with the intention of finding a good doctor. After serious research, I reviewed Mr. Dr. Semih Keskil’s articles and book about dementia. When what I read made sense to me, I decided to take my mother to his clinic. After many tests and examinations, we stayed in the hospital for three days, with a catheter placed in her lower back, and 5 ml of CSF was drained every day to see whether there would be improvement. In less than two days, we got clearly positive results, and one week later our doctor decided to implant a shunt system (to drain excess brain fluid into the abdominal cavity). The shunt was placed surgically, and within a few days my mother improved significantly: the urinary incontinence stopped, her memory gradually began to return, and her walking steadily improved. All of this happened thanks to Dr. Semih… I am grateful, Mr. Semih—so glad we found you… May God bless you.

Nazan, Kenan Saftürk

On 2017 December, my wife had a severe brain haemorrhage of grade three in the Netherlands. The first intervention was done in the Netherlands. After the operation she had a left sided paralysis. And she was given a report that she needed life-long care for her spine and was sent to the nursing home. I couldn’t accept that as a husband. Our research results for treatment in Turkey showed us Dr. Semih. He made a diagnosis of hydrocephalus after the examinations. After a minor surgery to implant a shunt; my wife was talking, who could not even sit in bed, walk or control the toilet necessities. She even wanted to go to the toilet. I could not not believe it. When we returned to the Netherlands; no one at the nursing home, even the doctors could not believe she would come and go by walking. Of course, I told about Dr. Semih’s talent. I’m working together with my wife in our office, as she began to work actively. We are very grateful first to God and Dr Semih and his assistants. We are expecting to see you when you happen to come to Holland. We love you very much. Greetings from Nazan and Kenan.

Onur Barak

We met our respected Prof. Semih Keskil because my mother needed a filling procedure for a fracture in a vertebra. Like every patient’s relative, we first searched online for the doctor in our country who could best perform such a difficult and dangerous operation, and we also asked people we knew. Moreover, my mother’s condition was caused by an excess of corticosteroids she had to use to manage her Myasthenia Gravis, and the fact that her existing illness could prevent her from waking up from anesthesia made the surgery even more dangerous.
In such circumstances, thank God, we came across such a good doctor—and an equally humble person. Due to both my mother’s Myasthenia Gravis and my own surgery, I have known many doctors, but I have rarely encountered a physician as competent and as dedicated to his profession as our professor. He completed the operation successfully. My mother woke up and, the next day, continued her life as if she had not undergone surgery. His encouragement before the operation, and his care and help afterward, are beyond words. He still reviews my mother’s bone tests periodically. Having such a valuable person in our lives after the surgery makes my family and me extremely happy.
So glad you exist, professor.
With deepest love and respect from Hatay.

Osman Özkarayanık

Because I was constantly gaining weight, I went to see Dr. Semih in 1999. He examined me and diagnosed that my problem was related to the pituitary gland. Prof. Keskil performed pituitary surgery, and since then I have been thankful—first to God, and then to Dr. Semih.

Özcan Özbek

I’m writing from İzmit. In 2000, my spouse became the first patient in Turkey whose brain tumor was removed without touching the brain—and the surgeon was Dr. Semih. Here, no doctor wanted to intervene; in my opinion, they left my wife to die. But may God bless him—Dr. Semih did everything he could. Thank God, and thank you.

Prof.Dr. Feride Duru & Asst Prof.Dr. Erdal Duru

We went to Semih Keskil for my wife’s chronic back and leg pain. A very knowledgeable gentleman and a true physician, with a great emphasis on deontology. We thank him very much for his deep knowledge and interest, which he has given us in a very gracious way. We wish him continous success.

Recep Bakırcı

I applied to Mr. Semih Keskil because of my some complaints. Thanks to him, he welcomed me like a father and took care of everything. As a result of the examinations, we decided to have surgery. He performed my surgery on May 23. My surgery took 6 hours. After the operation, I did not encounter any negativity that I was worried about. I was able to stand up in the evening. I stayed in the hospital for 5 days as a precaution. My doctor came to visit me many times during the day to check and change the dressings. It was so relevant that I still feel embarrassed whenever I think of it. It’s the first time I’ve seen a professor be so humble and so naive. Apart from his professional success, I think that this aspect should also be read and explained. All the ailments I complained about during the night were gone. I stopped using drugs and returned to my old quality of life. God bless my doctor. I feel very lucky to have known Mr. Semih Keskil. May his path and luck always be open. With my respect.

Rüya Deniz

Here is a doctor who does his job right.

A year ago, I learned that I had an advanced cervical disc herniation. Loss of sensation and strength in my left arm had begun. After the doctor who made the first diagnosis said, “If you sneeze, you’ll be paralyzed,” I went to my respected professor Semih after a detailed search. He performed the cervical disc surgery he recommended, which he called “motion-preserving.” By planning and following my post-op physiotherapy and return-to-normal-life process, as he said, I became no different from a commando on the mountain. Thanks to Mr. Semih, I can lift and hug my 4-year-old daughter every day—there is no way to describe this happiness.

Selil Yezenkılıç

I am grateful to Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil for his wonderful work—as an excellent surgeon and an excellent person—who performed my mother’s back surgery.

Serdar Güven

We applied to Semih Keskil, one of the most important names in our country in his field, for the immediate treatment of the fracture that occurred on his back as a result of my father’s fall. After the first examination and various tests, the doctor said that our patient should be operated on immediately. The doctor, who quickly programmed the operation, successfully completed an extremely risky operation and my father regained his health. I would like to thank Semih Keskil for his success, interest, sensitivity and kindness. God bless him. I recommend Semih Keskil to all patients for peace of mind.

Serhan Köse

Very caring and expert in his field. He explained the cause and treatment of our ailment down to the smallest detail.

S.İdeli

We met with Dr. Semih 6 years ago because of our son’s illness. I can say that it was a turning point in our lives for us. A very good doctor answering each of our questions one by one and treats the patients very meticulously. Our youngest son had syringomyelia surgery by Prof. Semih 6 months ago, the operation was very successful. Our doctor was always with us during and after the operation, he always took care of our child himself. The surgery went very well, our child’s troubles are completely over, anyone who wants help can go to Dr. Semih without thinking. I think he’s the best in his field. We are eternally grateful to him.

Şengül Günaydın

My esteemed doctor answered my question in a very short time, very kindly. Thank you very much.

Volkan Şimşek

I met with our doctor Semih Keskil on the signature day of his book, “Bunama and Everything About Alzheimer”. After reading his book, we decided to have my mother examined by him. My mother’s forgetfulness and deceleration in her daily movements were at the level that made us sad. I’m not going to write too much, since Prof Semih’s examination includes giving technical information about the tests and the operation. But, in this process we live with Semih Bey;* We have sufficiently mastered the diagnosis of such a condition and the examination process as a patient relative.* We have learned every information that Semih Bey shared in this process. This is the most important part of a person’s trust in his doctor.* The team that Semih Bey directed during this process was really very good for us.* Prof. Semih approached both my mother and us at a gentleman’s warmth and transparency. We are still remembering him in many meetings and recommending him in many environments.Prof. Semih Keskil, thank you very much for everything.

Yasemin Demirci

He is the only doctor who treated my lumbar hernia. I had a very comfortable time in the process as he had a high level of empathy, a very gentle and explanatory approach. One year after the operation, he was with me in the controls with the same approach. Most importantly, it is very valuable to me that he is extremely relevant without skipping any details.

Mehmet Kemal Yılmaz

Endless love to my respected Prof. Semih, whom I reached for pain radiating to my right foot that did not improve with physiotherapy—who starts by taking a full patient history, continues with a complete examination process, supports the diagnosis only with necessary tests, documents what needs to be done with his signature, and wisely touches the patient; who performed my endoscopic discectomy surgery for my lumbar disc herniation under local anesthesia and relieved my pain.

Hüseyin Tunç

I went to Semih Bey for pain radiating down my leg due to a lumbar disc herniation between L4–5. Before making a diagnosis, he reviewed every possibility one by one and then gave me an impeccably detailed diagnosis. I have never seen a doctor so careful and who does not leave his work to chance. By the way, my surgery also went very well. I wholeheartedly recommend that you see Semih Bey for your problem.

Dursun Toksoy

On recommendation, we went to Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil for my mother, who had problems such as forgetfulness and attention disorder. Unlike the four different doctors we had gone to before, he requested tests for my mother’s condition with great care and diligence and examined her. As a result, he clearly told us that my mother’s condition was not in a category that could be corrected by his intervention, and he referred us to another professor friend regarding medication use, stating that from then on, the course could be managed with drug therapy to slow the worsening. Thank you to him for clearly informing me and my family about my mother’s illness. Compared to many doctors we had previously taken my mother to, his clear and realistic explanations were much healthier for me as a relative of the patient. I offer my respects to Prof. Semih.

Fidan Sevilmiş

In 2008, I underwent a quite major spine surgery; my doctor was Semih Bey. His approach before the operation, his detailed explanations about my condition and the treatment method to be applied, and the fact that he cared about every question and took time for me were very valuable to me. My surgery went extremely well. From a state where I couldn’t move due to pain, I reached a point where I could continue my normal life. Over time, I tried to act in accordance with his recommendations. His care and follow-up throughout the entire process, and his emphasis on the postoperative period and what I should pay attention to, were very influential. In addition to feeling personally well, every doctor/physiotherapist who has seen my postoperative MRIs up to now has said that I underwent a very successful operation. During the illness period, my quality of life had dropped greatly and I was pessimistic about regaining my health. I consider myself very lucky that a doctor like Semih Bey—who is so competent in his work and so closely involved with his patients—came into my life. I find it risky to be a “reference” in health matters and I generally try not to do it. The exception is Semih Bey—he is a doctor I can recommend with my eyes closed.

Hülya Kolyiğit

Eight years ago, I was diagnosed with a meningioma mass. Over time it grew, and for the past year I started having epileptic seizures. During this period I had regular follow-ups. When surgery was mentioned, we sought a few opinions. Upon the recommendation of a relative working at the Ministry of Health, we consulted Prof. Semih. At our first appointment, he informed us very well and laid out a clear roadmap for us. He referred us to a neurologist, arranged our appointment, and they coordinated with each other, which made things much easier for us. When my husband and I left the first visit, we said, “Alright,” and thanked God that we had found the right expert. Eventually, after the examinations, I had my surgery 15 days ago, thank God. I am doing well now, and I hope I will be even better. Prof. Semih’s care after the surgery greatly lifted my morale. He is extremely gentle and kind… As much as my loved ones prayed for me, my professor received just as many prayers. May God grant him a blessed long life. May his services be beneficial to humanity… With respect to Alara Naz’s father.

Esra Ünsal

I had terrible pain due to a cervical disc herniation. I could barely use my right arm. After I came to myself following the surgery, I had no pain left—neither in my neck nor in my arm. I am grateful to him. It has been a year and a half since my surgery, and it feels as if I never had such a problem at all. Thank you, Prof. Semih.

Özge Kılınçarslan

He diagnosed the cause of my pain stemming from a lumbar disc herniation, and thanks to his treatment I have been very comfortable for three years. Mr. Semih is a good doctor; I was very satisfied.

Taha Hüseyin Çaycı

I first went to him in 2019 for back pain. He helped me and reassured me with his kind words. Unfortunately, around June 2021, after sports, I injured my back again and it turned out I had a rare thoracic disc herniation. During that time my psychology was badly affected. Generally, doctors are not very knowledgeable about this and tend to be pessimistic, but our professor is not like that at all. He is incredibly knowledgeable in his field and puts you at ease.
From the MRI scans he requested for follow-up, he told me that I had many small herniations in my neck, thoracic, and lumbar spine, as well as two herniations close to protrusion, but that I should continue my life and that it was not a surgical situation. With a regular lifestyle and nutrition—along with the support of algology (pain medicine) specialists—he explained that I could continue with a good, pain-free life, and this truly reassured me.
When I first went, my psychology was in a very bad state; he comforted me with a fatherly compassion, like a friend. Hearing “no surgery is needed” from someone so well-equipped in this field genuinely puts one at ease. I wish my professor a long life and a happy holiday. If one day I ever have a condition requiring surgery (hopefully not), I will entrust myself to him without hesitation.

Zafer Dokuzoğlu

Prof. Dr. Semih Keskil provides a reassuring and confidence-inspiring healthcare service through his examination, his listening to patients’ histories, his explanation of diagnosis and treatment planning, his satisfying answers to questions, and his honest and professional approach. After he treated a problem in my spine using the double-balloon kyphoplasty method, I regained my former health. I recommend him to all patients.

Doğa Koç

Thank you so, so much for what you have added to my life.

Mohamed Ali Husein

In 2020, we met Dr. Semih Keskil to treat my son Miqdad. He was very kind, alhamdulillah. He successfully placed a shunt for Miqdad. Every year we come to Dr. Semih Keskil to check Miqdad, and he is well, alhamdulillah. May God reward him. Dr. Prof. Semih Keskil.

Pamir Dilaver

We went to Prof. Semih for my mother in 2014. At another hospital, they could not understand what it was on the CT scan and told us to urgently take her to a university hospital. We reached Prof. Semih and he accepted us. When he looked at the CT, he immediately understood the mass; my mother had urgent surgery. What affected me the most was that after the surgery he would personally take my mother to the toilet and bring her back and lay her down, and he would feed her himself—because he wanted to observe the patient’s behavior directly. He wouldn’t ask me or his assistants; he would decide by seeing it directly, not indirectly.

Taner Guran

I went after researching online based on a recommendation. I was looking for help due to a clot-related complaint in my brain. I have never come across a doctor this humane and this caring. He wasn’t wearing a white coat—when I asked, “Professor, why don’t you wear a coat?” he said, “A White coat doesn’t change my knowledge,” and added, “A coat creates distance between me and my patient.” He addresses his patients as “brother” and “sister.” He says, “By speaking like that, I give them the feeling that I’m closer to them.” He has such beautiful thoughts. I have never known a doctor with such medical knowledge. He supported me medically so, so much. In short, I am truly devoted to my doctor. He is beyond a wonderful human being—I love him very much.

Yavuz Türeli

Dr. Semih Keskil operated on my mother due to a lumbar disc herniation and deterioration in her spine. Before the surgery, my mother walked bent over; now she continues her life in a very good way, without pain. After the successful surgery, despite her advanced age, she returned to a better quality life. We are grateful to Mr. Keskil for this. We’re so glad that you exist.

Erhan Bakır

If all you need is a doctor or a surgeon, you can find many. But if you are looking for someone who will truly be a remedy for your troubles, solve your problem, form a brotherly bond with you, and support you for a lifetime with both knowledge and experience—this is the person you are looking for. Prof. Semih is truly a physician who treats people closely, cares about their troubles as if they were his own, and researches and investigates every alternative that needs to be done. As one of his patients, I am very satisfied with him.

Atilhan Müftüoğlu

I was examined by Dr. Semih Keskil twice, upon the recommendation of a mutual doctor friend, for my back pain and numbness in my foot. His warm approach to the patient, ability to empathize, satisfying answers to my questions, and his way of explaining what needs to be done in a language I can understand make you feel confident and relieved. Prof. Semih told me I needed to lose weight and strengthen my muscles. I am following this, and I feel better every day. When I have a question, I can easily call him. I am grateful to him.

Sibel Akbay

I went to Prof. Semih upon recommendation because of my herniation pain, and now I am much better. Prof. Semih is very humane; he explains everything openly and puts effort into you. I was very satisfied—I recommend him.

Betül Mert Kurtuluş

Semih Keskil is the person whose name I remember every day saying “may God reward him.” If I am living in good health today, I owe it to him.

Paşa Tevfik Cephe

Dear Dr. Semih Bey made the correct diagnosis for my mother, who was suffering from a lumbar disc herniation, and helped her recover her health in a short time through an effective treatment process. After the surgery, she returned to her former health without any trouble and continues her life in a healthy way. Thank God for him and his team.

Ayşe Nevber Selis

Four years ago, I was suffering unbearable headaches. It felt as if an arrow was coming out of my eye from my brain. On recommendation, I went to Dr. Semih Bey. After listening to my complaint, he held my head with both hands and pressed downward, asking what I felt. Then he said, “Let’s get an MRI to be sure, but I think you may have a problem of age-related collapse in the cervical vertebra.”
Even while my MRI was being taken, my doctor came right up to me. When the diagnosis was confirmed, I thought to myself, “Oh no, I’ll probably need surgery.” But my doctor showed me the movements I should avoid and said, “Get physical therapy for two weeks; I think your complaints will decrease. Let’s consider surgery as the last resort.” And indeed, I benefited from physical therapy and my pains went away. I always pray for my doctor who saved me from these pains and from an unnecessary surgery. May God give him the opportunity to help many more patients.

Erdal Köprülü

I went to Semih Keskil Bey for a general check-up and also due to a problem related to my lower back and spine. Semih Bey deals with his patient’s condition meticulously and extraordinarily—everything about it. He has all tests done and leaves no bad possibility unexamined. He is a perfectionist physician.

Kadir Erten

I remember the day we entrusted my father to Prof. Semih, after we learned—through research—that he could treat the unbearable pain and the herniation surgery that could not be performed where we lived in the Black Sea region due to my father’s age. When Prof. Semih said, “Bring him immediately,” we traveled 1,000 km in one day. After the six-hour surgery, when I asked about my father’s condition, I will never forget him saying, “We rebuilt your father.” My father now places you in my stead. Even though three years have passed, my father’s quality of life is our greatest satisfaction. We as a family wish you continued success.

Taner Şerbetçioğlu

I went to Prof. Semih on a friend’s recommendation because of vertigo. He is an extremely humane and humanistic doctor. I received medication treatment for vertigo. With the lifestyle recommendations he gave, I regained my health. Because I was very satisfied with Prof. Semih, I recommend him to everyone.

Fahrettin Kürklü

Because I had back pain, I researched thoroughly and went to Semih Keskil Bey due to my back and herniation pain. Prof. Semih is very successful in terms of his humane approach, his professional knowledge and experience, and informing the patient. On top of all that, and most importantly, after a very successful treatment process, I am now very peaceful. I am grateful to Prof. Semih.

Tuncer Büyüktaşkın

Hello, patient or patient’s relative. First of all, I wish you a speedy recovery. I am someone who is nearing my seventies. Until the condition I will describe below, I had never had any serious illness. However, unfortunately, due to my wife’s many health problems, I have encountered many doctors—good and bad. I felt it was my duty to offer a few clues to help you form an initial opinion about doctors.
If a being feels pain, it is ALIVE. If a being feels another’s pain, it is HUMAN. A doctor must first have a conscience. If, during an examination or consultation, the doctor does not look you in the eye; if he needlessly drags out his words; if, with a little careful observation, you notice inconsistency between what he says at the beginning and what he says later, I recommend approaching that doctor with suspicion.
In our country, there are so many doctors and professors—some chose this profession by chance, while others were born with the talent to be a doctor (just as one cannot become a painter or musician later on). For a stomach problem, you can correct an incompetent doctor’s wrong treatment with another doctor. But we all have heard from people around us that neurosurgery and diseases of the nervous system require special intelligence and skill; otherwise, the wrong doctor and treatment can lead to terrible consequences.
As for my condition: while helping a citizen whose car had fallen into a ditch, I lifted something heavy and, with a wrong movement, I suffered for weeks from pain that started at my hip and wrapped around my left leg. When you become ill for the first time, you are more sensitive and fearful. From my network—friends, acquaintances, and doctor friends—those who had known Prof. Semih KESKİL since his successful residency and who had seen his success rates in treatments refeerred to him. Also, from my conversations with other patients at his office, I learned that they were there as a last resort after various doctors, which made me realize I was in the right place, and I entrusted myself to him with confidence. Within 30 days, thanks to the treatment he applied, I returned to my original health. I am grateful to him.
