What Is Thoracic Disc Hernia?
Question: What is a thoracic disc herniation?
Answer: A thoracic disc herniation is a condition in which the disc tissue between the thoracic vertebrae (T1–T12) protrudes into the spinal canal. It accounts for only about 0.5–4% of all disc herniations and is therefore much rarer than lumbar and cervical disc herniations.
